Jordan photos: Wadi Rum (part two)

A natural rock arch, great for climbing!

Sunset is approaching. The shadows are lengthening, and the temperature is cooling down.

Back at the camp.

Our visitors. Or, perhaps better: our hosts. They *loved* the digital camera. All kids do.

Nancy and I got to dress up as Bedouin ladies.

The little girl fell asleep in my lap. Soon they left, and we arranged our bedding under the starry sky. I have never seen so many stars before.

In the morning. A good-morning kiss?

Funny faces. I love camels.

Going for a bumpy ride.

These guys can even get them to gallop!

The contents of the tent are packed, and we are going back to Obeid's house in the nearby village.
