The supplies are ready for the winter:

And this is Novi Sad, as Ivana and I saw it:

This was a rare occasion: I had the opportunity to betogether with my two best friends Sara and Ivana at thesame time. Ivana lives in New Zealand, so this is thefirst time we could be all together in a long long time. And who knows when the next occasion will be...

Some more photos by Ivana: our Strand in the afternoon, andthe remains of Most Slobode.
Our dear family friends Mira and Zoran Bajic.

And with old friends at Trema.
Our relatives family Kucera in their home, where Sanji-bacihas a well equipped wine and brandy making cellar. Home madebrandy and wine a a big thing in this part of Yugoslavia, and people pride themselves with their rakija or palinka. Itis made from big quantities of fruit (not potatoes or cornor some other cheap material, they like to point out) and itis *very* strong. It is the unavoidable sign of welcome tobe served some strong home made brandy, and Andreas wasunder more or less constant shower of welcome as we oftenvisited several home a day. As a woman I can be excused, butthere are no excuses for a guy.

Sara with her dancing students, and her husband Jevdja.
